C. D. Tavenor is the Director of Editorial Services and co-founder of Two Doctors Media Collaborative.
After receiving his B.A. in Philosophy from The Ohio State University, C. D. Tavenor received his Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. While refining his legal skills, he wrote his first novel, First of Their Kind. After graduating from law school, he became a public interest attorney in Columbus, Ohio.
Yet even while focusing on his legal career, C. D. Tavenor refines his creative writing skills as both an author and an editor. He believes both science fiction and fantasy have the potential to reveal fundamental truths about the human condition, especially when it comes to solving humanity’s greatest challenge: climate change.
Through Two Doctors Media Collaborative, C. D. Tavenor can’t wait to inspire other creatives to use their skills to inspire, entertain, and communicate the brilliant ideas waiting just beyond the page.

Kim Tavenor is the Two Doctors Media Collaborative Creative Director, providing a much needed artistic flair to the team.
She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, and is continuing her education at Columbus State Community College studying Digital Design and Graphics.
Throughout both her professional and personal lives Kim has vocally advocated for those struggling with mental health issues. As someone diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, ADHD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Bipolar-II, she weaves her academic background in psychology with her personal life experience to become a voice for those with struggles similar to her own.
She uses writing to highlight the normalcy of these struggles, creating a platform through which these issues are discussed publicly. She uses observational humor and upfront honesty to discuss this in her current work in progress—I Can’t Knit (And Other Things I Over-Analyze).
Her role in Two Doctors Media allows her to not only pursue her own creative dreams, both visual and written, but assist authors, illustrators, designers, and any other type of budding creative in reaching their own aesthetic goals for their projects. She also owns her home decor Etsy company, Humble Abodes.

Brian J. Timm is the Director of Game Development and Co-Founder of Two Doctors Media Collaborative.
After earning his B.A. in Criminology and Psychology from The Ohio State University, Brian served as an AmeriCorps College Guide with I Know I Can in Columbus, OH. From there, he entered the PhD Sociology Program at Bowling Green State University. He graduated with his M.A. in the Spring 2018 and currently works as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Instructor for the BGSU Sociology Department.
While focusing on his academic career, Brian also nurtures a love of board games, podcasts, and his healthy competitive rivalry with C.D. Tavenor. He believes in the importance of community and healthy relationship building that comes with creating and playing board games. He is currently working on his own board game , Pod for the Meeple, and untitled few short stories. He hopes Two Doctors Media will connect both light and heavy gamers alike in their love for board games.
Through Two Doctors Media, Brian cannot wait to inspire creativity, collaboration, and community in the creative process surrounding books and board games.
